Swimming Pool Toys and Floats

Summer will be here before we know it and now is the time to start thinking about your swimming pool accessories such as pool floats and pool toys.

Floats and toys come in a wide variety and for every age group. There are the standard pool toys such as dive rings and basketball hoops but there are also the more adventurous toys such as underwater pogo sticks and the sunken treasure diving game. Adults and children alike can have many hours of fun in the sun while in the pool with a deck of waterproof playing cards. Waterproof playing cards are a pool toy that is hard to beat, who wouldn't want to play Go Fish while lounging in the pool on a float.

Floats are a big ticket item in the summer and pool floats come in all shapes and sizes. Pool toys and floats are made of inflatable plastic or vinyl. Inflatable toys are commonly made with Phthalates. Phthalates are a group of chemicals (oily, colorless liquids) that are used, among other things, to make vinyl and other plastics soft and flexible. Three phthalates, DEHP, DBP, and BBP, have been permanently banned in concentrations of more than 0.1% in children's toys by the US Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSIA).

All of these types of inflatables are available for swimming pools and even to take to the beach or the lake. You can even use swimming pool toys and floats in the snow. A lot of people use pool inner tubes for sledding. So this summer make sure you get the best for your family and friends.
