Classroom Games - Word Relay, Teacher Basketball & More

Word Relay

This game is good help writing vocabulary and spelling.

1) Divide the class into two teams to come and have a player for any team to counsel.

2) Please leave the card in two letters of a word on every page.

3) The player starts the game by entering a word with the last letter of the previous word (ie snake - elephant> -> Toys).

4) The players pass the marker for the student and the season begins next word.

I usually assign more pointsmore words or do not accept smaller words.

These do

This game is a variant of the popular game Simon Says. Instead of saying "Simon Says", the guide says: "Do not do this" or "." If the boss says: "Do this, students must follow the action, but if the boss says:" Do that "students should not for action. The height of the measures is unlimited, and if students training needs leaders capable of performing more physical movements like jumping jacks or pushUPS. The game can be formed or elimination format team.

Teacher Basketball

With March Madness basketball underway in Canada and the United States this month, I thought it would be appropriate to share a game.

1) Find a soft ball to the basket and use his arms or an empty garbage can in the basket, you create the file.

2) Draw two lines on the floor with an erasable pen. Make a line closer to the tire than the others.

3) Divide the class intotwo groups and start to play by a player from each team and asked them every question from the lesson.

4) After the players have to answer their questions, playing Rock, Paper, Scissor, to see who shoots from the nearest line.

5) Enter wins a point for each basket and the team with the most points at the end of the game.

To move the game more difficult the basket back and forth as the player shoots (agree to keep your eyes, fair).

To make the game moreThe competitive advantage of being a problem for me and the player the first sprout from the nearest line responses.

If a team starts to pull away, you increase the value of giving points the other team can catch up.
